While October finished up with Airports Council International (ACI) World’s annual general assembly in Marrakech, November is already off to a busy start as we head to European Rotors in Germany, IATA’s energy forum in India and Green Aviation Development in China. 

 

October saw various members of the Air bp team getting out and about. Air bp’s global sustainability director, Andreea Moyes, spoke at the Aviation Carbon (Green Air) event at London Heathrow, as well as the Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials (RSB) Innovations meeting in Boston. Meanwhile Sven Rieve, Air bp’s sustainability director spoke at the Towards Sustainable Aviation Summit in Toulouse. 

 

Events show no sign of abating in November either. On 3 November Sven attended a sustainability event hosted by DHL and Boeing in Bonn, Germany. From 8-10 November Sven is also attended European Rotors in Cologne, which we supported and where he joined a panel discussion on SAF in the helicopter market. We also enjoyed the European Business Aviation Forum, which was held in Brussels on 9 November and are looking forward to the IATA energy forum in New Delhi from 15-17 November. Meanwhile, Air bp’s CEO, Martin Thomsen, will be presenting online for the Green Aviation Development Forum in China from 21-21 November. The month will finish up in Dresden, Germany for Deutsche Verkehrforum, which Sven will be attending.

 

Looking even further ahead to December, do get in touch if you’re attending this year’s MEBAA (6-8 December) in Dubai, for which we are the official carbon reduction partner.
