Founded by Alexander the Great in circa 331 BC and now the largest city on the Mediterranean, this destination is home to one of the world’s largest necropolises and the oldest tram system in Africa.


Home to one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World - the Pharos lighthouse, this city is now home to the country’s largest seaport. Much of the ancient remains of this city are buried underneath the modern one, while thousands of artefacts are submerged underwater, including the remains of Cleopatra’s palace.

 

The destination we’re referring to is... Alexandria in Egypt which is served by Nouzha International Alexandria (ALY/ HEAX) and Alexandria Borg El Arab International (HBE/ HEBA).
