Having launched our carbon offsetting programme for business aviation in Brazil in 2018, we are now extending our programme to two new airports in the region. The news was announced during LABACE, which took place earlier this month in São Paulo and follows an exciting collaboration with Voa São Paulo, a Brazilian private airport administration consortium

Jundiaí and Amarais airports are now part of Air BP’s supply network and the first of Voa São Paulo’s locations to join our pioneering programme. Although there is potential to expand the offer to more of the airport consortium’s locations in the future.

“We are very proud of this new collaboration with Voa São Paulo. Our carbon offset program, which complements our existing focus on customer service and safety in operations, is a significant step towards making Brazilian business aviation more sustainable”, said Ricardo Paganini, general manager, Air BP South America

LABACE was certainly an action-packed event for our team in Brazil, as we also unveiled the launch of our airfield automation technology in Brazil. The cloud-based platform designed specifically for operators and airports, is an integrated, real-time, global solution that helps reduce the risk of misfuelling while delivering increasingly integrated information to customers such as delivery records and precise delivery timings.
