Following its temporary closure while works were carried out, Milan Linate reopened on 27 October. Designed to improve the passenger experience and increase the level of safety and security at the airport, the revamp has included the resurfacing of Linate’s 2.4km runway and taxiway.
Although the airport is now open and fully functioning, the installation of a new baggage handling system and the redesign of the airport’s departure terminal and boarding area are ongoing. Work is scheduled for completion in early 2021.
Located close to the city centre, Milan Linate is a popular choice for those wanting easy access to the capital of Italy’s Lombardy region. It’s also hugely convenient with a dedicated general aviation terminal, conference rooms and a business centre. The airport is open from 06.00 – 23.00 and Jet A-1 is available.
