If you’re heading to Barcelona for the Spanish Grand Prix on the 12 May, then Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN/ LEBL) is 40 minutes from the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and 30 minutes from the city centre

A popular fixture on the F1 calendar, the Spanish Grand Prix, is one of the oldest Formula 1 races in the world having started in 1913. Fans and celebrities from all over the globe flock to the Spanish city to catch a glimpse of the action. This year’s event will see the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel, Charles Leclerc and Pierre Gasly all take their seat behind the wheel.

Thanks to the airport’s location being so close to the city centre, exploring all the fascinating architectural sights, culture and gastronomy that Barcelona has to offer will be easy and convenient during the Spanish Grand Prix. The airport also has a dedicated general aviation terminal. Facilities include a VIP passenger lounge and meeting room, crew rest lounges and a crew business centre.
