We were delighted to support the Spanish National Aerobatic Championships (CEVA), which took place at Casarrubios Airfield in Toledo and Matilla de los Caños in Valladolid at the end of October

 

As well as being the official fuel supplier for this year’s championship, Air bp was one of the main sponsors. In line with our sustainability goals, part of our commitment to CEVA included offsetting all 15 tonnes of carbon produced during the event.

 

Nearly 30 pilots participated in the event with Cástor Fantoba, a member of the Spanish national team, crowned Overall Champion (Classic) for the 10th time. He was also awarded the gold medal in the Freestyle round for the fifth time.

 

Although the coronavirus pandemic meant that spectators couldn’t attend the event in person, the event was live-streamed through various media platforms.
