Owned by Real Aeroclub of Malaga, the airport is a dedicated general and business aviation facility. It features a 1km runway, hangar parking, maintenance facilities and a small restaurant. The airfield joined Air bp’s network in 2017 and both Avgas and Jet A-1 are available here.

 

As well as offering easy access to the city of Malaga – the birthplace of Picasso and home to the famous Alcazaba Fortress and La Manguita Cathedral – the airport is a great base for those wanting to explore other cities such as Granada, Marbella and Seville. Boasting more than 300 days of sunshine a year, the region is also home to more than 50 golf courses, as well as a selection of outdoor attractions and theme parks.
