Last month marked a milestone as we officially celebrated the 25th anniversary of Air BP Albania at Tirana International Airport (TIA/ LATI). We would like to thank all those who joined us for a cocktail reception and gala dinner to mark the occasion at the Plaza Hotel on 16 January.
Since adding Tirana to our network in 1993 we’ve marked a number of achievements, including 1.5 million hours worked incident free at the airport in 2013. We’d like to extend our thanks to all of you for your continued support in the region over the past 25 years. Here’s to the next quarter of a century!
Last month’s Schedulers and Dispatchers conference at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Centre in San Antonio, Texas, proved a hugely successful event. It was great to see so many familiar faces and to share our latest and greatest developments for refuelling within the business aviation sector in the US.

This year’s Aviation Africa is once again set to be a highlight for the continent’s aerospace and defence industries. Taking place from 27 to 28 February in the Rwandan capital, Kigali, the two-day summit and exhibition will see a stellar line-up of speakers and delegates with a packed conference schedule. Meanwhile a co-located exhibition will feature over 100 global aviation companies, including Air BP.
