Thrill seeking fun at the Spanish National Aerobatic Championship

We were delighted to support the Spanish National Aerobatic Championships (7-9 June), which took place near Valencia at Requena Airfield and saw more than 40 pilots competing. The event was broadcast around the world reaching around 100 million people. The championship, which also hosted a motor show, wrapped up in style with a race between an aeroplane and a Ferrari.

Last month’s Careto Air Show, which took place in Braganca airfield in Portugal from 7-8 July, pulled in an impressive crowd of around 10,000 spectators. The show offers an exciting display of historic aircraft, as well as aerobatic shows. We recently renewed our contract at the airfield so were delighted to be involved in the action-packed annual event.

Looking forward to LABACE

Excitement is rising for this year’s Latin American Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (LABACE), which is taking place from 13-15 August in Sao Paulo. We are looking forward to supporting the show and our team will be on hand to showcase all our latest news and developments from the region. Highlights for this year’s show will include news on the expansion of our pioneering carbon offset programme for business aviation in Brazil, for which we are collaborating with the Voa São Paulo airport consortium. We will also be providing updates on our partnership with Avantto and a new project in the North of Brazil, which recently became part of the BP Target Neutral portfolio. Plus, we will be showcasing our innovative Airfield Automation technology, which we are introducing in the region to enhance safety, reliability and compliance in airport fuelling operations.
