Corporate Jet Investor’s annual conference

 

Last month we attended Corporate Jet Investor’s annual conference in London on Monday 3 February. The two-day event was a great networking opportunity with senior executives and leaders from across the business aviation community attending. Under the session titled ‘Gone Green: why aviation needs to become sustainable now’ Tom Parsons, Air BP’s low carbon commercial development manager, addressed the arguments for and against offsetting as well as Air BP’s role in the development of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).

EBACE AirOps Europe 2020

 

Tom Parsons also represented Air BP at the European Business Aviation Association’s (EBACE’s) AirOps Europe 2020 event. It took place in Brussels from 4-5 February. Tom joined other panellists including Bruce Parry, EBAA’s senior environment manager, to discuss how FBO’s could be more sustainable. We also led a workshop covering everything from sustainable aviation fuel and carbon offsetting to carbon neutral operations.

Aviation Africa summit

 

With Africa’s aviation sector forecast for impressive growth we’re excited about attending the 5th Aviation Africa summit which is taking place this year in Addis Ababa Ethiopia (4-5 March). The two-day summit is a popular fixture in the continent’s aviation calendar and sustainability is also the key theme running through this event. BBGA Annual Conference

 

On Thursday 5 March, Tom Parsons, Low carbon commercial development manager, Air BP, will be talking at the BBGA Annual Conference at Luton Hoo, just outside of London. This year’s conference will follow the theme ‘Flight to sustainability’ and offers a fantastic networking opportunity for industry leaders from the business and general aviation sector.

Revolution.Aero Europe

 

Now postponed until June (new dates to be announced). Tom Parsons will again be taking to the stage to speak at Revolution.Aero Europe in London. The event brings together the people reshaping, rethinking and revolutionising business and general aviation to learn, network and share ideas. It’s set to be an exciting forum with talks covering urban air mobility, vertiports of the future, the internet of aircraft and of course sustainable aviation fuel.
