Christmas has come early for those flying to Sweden. Västerås Airport (VST/ ESOW), one of the oldest cities in Sweden and Northern Europe has joined our network just in time for the busy winter season

 

Situated on the shores of Lake Malaren, Sweden’s sixth-largest city is home to some of the country’s top museums, restaurants and attractions. The old town, with its curio shops and narrow lanes is utterly charming and complemented by the city’s lakeside commercial and industrial centres. Outside the city are some fascinating Viking burial sites.

 

Just 5km south of Västerås town centre, the airport is also a great alternative for those travelling to Stockholm as it’s just over 100km from the Swedish capital. General aviation customers are well catered for with an FBO on site and Jet A-1, Avgas and UL91 are all available at this location.
