Pricing Business Process Enablement Manager

Castrol must ensure critical processes are designed, enabled, and optimized to enable business strategy and performance.

A Castrol Initiate & Confirm team being setup to manage the ERP enabled business transformation process design and Quantum migration strategy, change management agenda and process simplification globally across the business. This role will work in full alignment with the C&P Rugby program to manage the process knowledge consolidation as part of an integrated “Quantum Castrol” team.

As the Castrol Pricing process expert plays a crucial role in ERP transformation by overseeing the integration of ERP systems into the global Castrol organization. The job holder analyzes existing processes, identifies gaps, and collaborates with collaborators to design and implement efficient ERP processes as part of the bp Quantum project. This role is ensuring alignment with business needs and guiding to optimize processes & workflows and full alignment with ongoing transformations including Pivot / Nova

In this role You will:

  • Implement uniform Pricing processes across the organization to achieve efficiency, reduce costs, resulting in secure operations and with privacy and legal compliance.

  • Coordinate governance meetings to establish global process standard definitions.

  • Ensure that processes are coordinated and aligned with the organization's values and performance goals.

  • Co-facilitate Solution Confirmation workshops

  • Effectively challenge current standards / requirements and promote new approaches and solutions

  • Drive process improvements, promote CI-oriented culture

  • Prioritize opportunities and processes based on their business value and risks

  • Define goals

  • Provide inputs to change impact assessments and communication needs

  • Make Team design decisions and escalate to GPO as needed

What You will need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as business, project management, or information technology.

  • Solid understanding of Castrol Pricing activity gained in the business

  • A consistent track record of being part of multidisciplinary, complex projects or transformation programmes.

  • Track record in project management

  • Experience in project risk management, minimising risk to project deliverables and disruption to the business

  • Experience with ERP or software project deployment

  • Good capability in partner engagement and communication and issue resolution

Skills & Competencies

  • Deep understanding of Castrol Pricing business processes

  • Act as a custodian of the Castrol ERP template

  • Playing a key integrator role between business and solution aspects

  • Make and own decisions

  • Ability to drive consensus and resolve conflicts across multiple parties with conflicting views

  • Analyze and design business processes

  • Have expert industry and product knowledge

  • Driving standardization and harmonization across regions and countries

  • Take a pragmatic/economic view while prioritizing functionality—make sacrifices for the bigger picture

  • Communication skills with end users and with the project teams

  • Champion the project solution and frame changes in a way that engages and excites the end user community
