Pricing Coordinator (fixed term position)

This position is a fixed term role, target end that is the end of July 2025.

The job holder will be responsible for managing and execution National Convenience Prising Strategy. This role ensures the BP’s pricing in convenience store is consistent and competitive, and compliant according to the pricing strategy and rules.

In this role You will:

  • Develops, implements end to end shop pricing strategies and plans, shaping pricing standards in line with value chain strategy.
  • Manage tools and processes development to support pricing strategy across local Convenience team.
  • Lead price assessment processes and ensures the achievement of profit margins considering purchase price changes and customer expectations.
  • Develop and manage clear as you go process as a part of range management exit plans.
  • Monitor market activities, delivers, and translates findings into business actions.
  • Support local teams with category-specific insights and recommendations and supports them with pricing and promotion strategies. Liaises with other departments to implement operational excellence practices for pricing.
  • Ensures full compliance towards all legal requirements regarding shop pricing, supporting the legal department and other enquiries when needed.
  • Manage an agile cooperation between teams and networks and ensures acquiring of information as well as proactive communication.

What You will need to be successful:

  • Degree level education preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Retail Buyer or directly relevant experience within a trading  and pricing environment.
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to deliver goals in agile environment.
  • Experience in setting and managing pricing strategies in FMCG retail.
  • Strong team-working skills with the ability to work with others across the retail business
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical and excel spreadsheet skills
  • Sector, market, customer and competitor understanding & Using market research effectively
  • Sales forecasting and demand planning
  • Retail category management & Integrated pricing skills
  • Customer focus
