bp Azerbaijan sponsors online World Net Summit on innovations
Virtual conference on post-pandemic innovations industry is taking place 11-15 May to discuss and exchange views on the challenges imposed by COVID-19
bp Azerbaijan is the main sponsor of the World Net Summit held on 11-15 May, also supported by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, United Nations Development Program, SUP VC and the Innoland Incubation and Acceleration Center.
WorldNet Summit is where the founders and CEOs of technology companies, fast-growing startups, policymakers and heads of states come together to connect and build the future of technology.
It provides a unique opportunity to meet new people and to connect with leading IT professionals about new technology and the latest business innovations. During the conference the regional representatives of the industry will also touch upon the current situation in the startup ecosystem.
The conference will be held online given the current COVID-19 pandemic and it will focus on post-pandemic innovation strategies, future steps to be taken by investors and all the challenges faced during this period. The conference comprises of 9 stages such as “Startup Academy”, “Monex Summit”, “Government Address”, “Baku E-Trade Forum”, “Maintech Forum”, “Venture Summit”, “Creathink”, “Corporate Innovation Forum”, “Influencer Summit” and more than 30 speakers from 15 countries are expected to deliver speeches at the online event.
A number of ministers and high-level government representatives are participating in the event. bp is represented by Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli, VP C&EA, Strategy and Region who is speaking as part of the government address session on 12 May, at 16:30-18:00.
