In May, bp took their place as lead sponsor at the MSGBC conference in Dakar. The event kicked off with a day dedicated to local content, where Ahmed Eleish, Procurement Director - Africa discussed our commitment to local content through growing local businesses, developing national talent in the workforce and investing in sustainable development projects in the communities near the Greater Tortue Ahmayium (GTA) project.

 

On day two, Massaer Cisse, Vice-President and Head of Country, Senegal took part in a keynote which showcased the incredible progress and major milestones that have been reached on GTA phase 1. The bp team also enjoyed hosting the gala dinner and meeting stakeholders at the bp exhibition stand.
