Tangguh hosts visit from SKK Migas Chairman, Director General of Oil & Gas and leadership from Ministry of Energy & Mineral Resources

JAKARTA - On Tuesday 21 June we hosted a visit from the SKK Migas chairman Dwi Soetjipto and director general of oil & gas Tutuka Ariadji. This is their first visit to Tangguh LNG. We also welcomed special staff for the minister of energy & mineral resources Triharyo Hendrawan Soesilo (Hengki), expert staff for the minister of energy & mineral resources Nanang Untung and President Joko Widodo's special staff Billy Mambrasar.

Our stakeholders saw firsthand how we run the largest gas-producing field in Indonesia, as well as the progress of our Train 3 project. The group also visited our main control building where they met with our workers, including the graduates from Tangguh Papuan Technician Apprentice Programme.

SKK Migas chairman Dwi Soetjipto said: "I'm very happy to finally be able to visit Tangguh LNG site. I'm also very proud to see many workers from Papua here at Tangguh, as field technicians and in strategic roles running Tangguh production. I am optimistic that bp can continue bringing maximum benefits for Indonesia and Papua Barat."
