BP’s operating businesses are accountable for delivering safe, reliable, and compliant operations every day.
Even as we deliver heat, light, and mobility solutions across India, we work hard to be a world-class operator, a responsible corporate citizen and a great employer — creating an environment where everyone feels valued and able to contribute their unique skills and perspectives.
Our ability to operate safely and responsibly depends in part on the capability and performance of our contractors, suppliers and partners. We address this in several ways, including training and requiring adherence to operational standards through continuous engagement and best practices.
We also seek to identify and manage risks in the supply chain relating to safety, corruption and money laundering, and have sustainability-related provisions in our contracts with suppliers and contractors.
Bribery and corruption is not tolerated in any of its forms in our business. We comply with, and support anti-bribery and corruption laws and regulations worldwide. No bp employee or contractor will offer or accept bribes, kickbacks or any other kind of improper payment including facilitation payments. We also encourage the keeping of accurate books and records so that payments are honestly described, and company funds are not used for unlawful purposes. Every employee and contractor is asked to know who they are doing business with, by following our counterparty due diligence procedures.
