Local content vision

Our local content strategy aims to bring benefits from our operations to the wider economy in Mauritania and Senegal.

At the national and regional level, we do this by sourcing locally wherever we can, where local companies meet industry standards and requirements, and constantly striving to build supplier capability and awareness. As we look ahead to production and the skills and resources needed to support the long term development of the energy industry, we also focus on developing our people and workforce. At the local level we strive to support sustainable development in our host communities through social investment initiatives.
