Massaer joined bp on 1st of June 2021. He has a wealth of experience in the energy sector, joining bp from his role of  General Manager with Lekela Power, a Pan-African renewable power generation company.

Prior to this, Massaer held a number of commercial and operational roles at Deloitte, including several senior roles in the United States as well as Director in  Senegal.
