A large delegation from the American Chamber of Commerce in Argentina consisting of government officials and members of the country’s congress recently toured Westlake facilities and met with BP leaders.

The delegation heard presentations on the BP Stats Review and BP’s Liquified Natural Gas business followed by briefings at the Remote Collaboration Center, the Crisis Center, the Logistics and Infrastructure area and the Agile Work area.

“BP remains committed to Argentina and is encouraged by our recent successful bids for blocks CAN-113 and CAN-111 in the Argentine Round I Offshore bid round in April as well as our 50 percent participation in the Pan American Energy Group (PAEG) joint venture,” said William Lin chief operating officer, Upstream Regions.

BP, and other major energy companies successfully bid on offshore Argentine blocks earlier this year.
