BP supports U.S. Paralympics Track Cycling Open

BP proudly sponsored the 2018 U.S. Paralympics Track Cycling Open, which took place Feb. 10-11 in Carson, California

Over the weekend, dozens of para-cyclists from across the country — including numerous national champions and U.S. Paralympians — competed in both individual and team track events. The competition also served as a qualifying event for the 2018 Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) Para-cycling Track World Championships in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

 

Para-cycling is the sport of cycling adapted for athletes with visual or physical impairments. The Paralympics competition program includes sprints, individual pursuits and the 1,000-meter time trial, as well as road races and road time trials.

 

In addition to supporting the U.S. Paralympics cycling national team, BP is a proud sponsor of the U.S. Paralympic national teams for Nordic skiing, alpine skiing, track and field, swimming and snowboarding.
