This time of year provides the perfect opportunity to reflect on some of the achievements of the past 12 months. With change accelerating in the fleet energy sector, 2024 has been one that has brought us many highlights.

While the spotlight often shines on lower carbon fuels, the reality is that many fleets still rely on traditional fuels. Our view is that oil is likely to play a major role in the global energy system until 2035 when its decline will accelerate due to the increasing pressure to find more sustainable alternatives.

When it comes to fuelling and charging your fleet, the size of your network matters. The larger and more accessible it is, the less time your drivers spend searching for stations - especially when they’re strategically located near motorways and major routes.

The world wants and needs a better and more balanced energy system – one that delivers energy that is secure and lower carbon. Our global investment into lower carbon solutions means bp is uniquely placed to support customers now, and in the future.
