Rolling up our sleeves for the Charity days

Giving something back to our local communities is meaningful, fun, and great corporate social responsibility in action!

We don't just believe in corporate social responsibility (CSR) we also roll up our sleeves and get on with it!  Supporting local communities across Budapest is central to this activity.

Whether that's setting aside the time for bp employees to through volunteering and charitable giving, or taking part in team-building days to achieve makeover projects, from painting a classroom at a local school, to planting an allotment at a shelter for mothers. The areas we work in include the South-Pest area and District 9 in Budapest and Csongrád County.  Employees at bp Hungary can spend two days a year doing many different kinds of volunteering work with charititable organizations, and they're fully encouraged to do so, because quite simply, we believe it's the right thing to do. 

In October 2019 our projects took place in both Budapest and Szeged. In Budapest we renovated the gardens of Szerb Antal Secondary School, while in Szeged we worked in the gardens of the ÓVI Klebelsberg Kindergarten. It's a win-win - we help improve our local places, and as bp employees, we get a real buzz out of helping to make a difference.
