Wizzing through the streets of Budapest

As a sponsor of the Wizzair half-marathon, we really flew!

The Wizzair half-marathon - the biggest half-marathon in Europe - on 8 September, held in the centre of Budapest was proudly sponsored by bp.

More than 100 colleagues took part, as individuals or part of a relay team, and many more lined the streets to cheer on their colleagues. We also set-up two much-needed chill-out zones, at the start and the end of the race, and provided some tasty, healthy smoothies for all taking part. 

Not only did the event encourage individuals' personal best, and a personal focus on goal-setting and striving to do well on the day, it also encouraged a supportive environment for our teams, both in the skills needed for organization of the chill-out zones, and joining forces to cheer on the runners.
